Furniture

Commercial and residential furniture built to be sat on daily for years, with the joint, the mechanism and the finish tested rather than assumed.

Made at Dongguan · Bac Ninh

Development and manufacture

Furniture fails at its joints and its mechanisms, so that is where our development effort and our testing budget go. Chairs are cycled to BIFMA and EN counts in our own laboratory, gas lifts are proof tested, and panel connections are pull tested at the fixing rather than judged by eye. Where a customer specifies a mechanism we do not believe will last the warranty, we say so and show the cycle data.

Panel cutting, edge banding, metal forming, powder coating, foam moulding and upholstery all run here. Board is bought to E1 or E0 formaldehyde class and verified on arrival, and finished goods are tested again — because emission is a property of the assembled item, not of the raw panel. Flat-pack programmes ship with instructions and fittings proven by an untrained assembler working from the printed sheet alone.
